Yachiyo Knaben & Mädchen Chor

The choir was founded in 1977 in the city of Yachiyo (Japanese Prefecture of Chiba). At the beginning, the children sang together with foreign choirs who came to Japan. The first tour abroad took place in 1984 (Malaysia), after which many other countries were toured. On its travels, the Yachiyo Boys & Girls Choir won a number of international singing competitions. The repertoire is expanded annually and carried out into the world on behalf of the country of Japan.
