Biography
Ursula Langmayr was born in Linz and studied singing with Ingrid Janser -Mayr and Lied and Oratory with Wolfgang Holzmair at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg.

Cambreling , Emilio PomĂ rico , Jonathan Nott , Ricardo Chailly , Beat Furrer,
Russell Ryan, Erwin Ortner, Klangforum Wien , Ensemble Research, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra , the Bavarian Radio Orchestra , the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the Auckland Pipers , and much more. at national and international festivals such as Wien Modern , Vienna Festival , autumn Styrian styriarte , Bregenz Festival , Salzburg Festival, Carinthian Summer, Märzmusik Berlin , Warsaw Autumn, Wagner Festival Wels and others.
Enjoyed great success Ursula Langmayr among other Carinthian Summer Festival as an angel in the UA "I , Job " by Thomas Daniel Schlee and ibid. as Maria in "The Birth of John the Baptist " by Jyrki Linjama , at the premiere of the opera " Len Lye " in Auckland/ New Zealand.
She was also very successful in her jump-in " Christmas in Vienna 2013 ' at the Vienna Konzerthaus on the side of Angelika Kirschschlager and Luca Pisaroni .
Additional engagements Ursula Langmayr also to the Opéra Garnier and the Centre Pompidou, at the Salzburg Festival , the Bregenz Festival , at the Graz Opera and the ISCM days in Bern, where she gave Gyorgy Kurtag's " Kafka Fragments" to the performance.
Concert invitations , recitals and tours in the USA, Japan , China, New Zealand, Italy , Finland , Sardinia, Slovenia , Switzerland, Germany , Poland, Bulgaria , Serbia and Bosnia.
2014/15 are , among others, a concert tour and CD recordings in New Zealand performances at the Theater an der Wien, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Bruckner House , as well as recitals and concert invitations at home and abroad on the program.
The Cd "What can we poor females do ? " which Ursula Langmayr has recorded together with the Mezzo-soprano Christa Ratzenböck and pianist Russell Ryan was awarded the Pasticciopreis of OE1 .
