Cynthia Hsin-Ju Liao

The Austrian-Taiwanese viola player and composer first studied Viola and Composition in Taiwan, continued and finished the study of viola in Vienna.

Since  2003  she  is  Member  of  Vienna  Chamber  Orchestra,  where  she  became  Principal Viola in 2011.
Since 2006 Ms. Liao is the viola player of the non-classic quartet “radio.string.quartet”, which performs up to 70 concerts in the year. This group is artist signed by the Germen CD Company “ACT Music + Vision” since 2006.

Cynthia Liao plays a viola of Ludovicus Guersan (Paris, 1770) and strings of Thomastik-Infeld.
