Symphonie Classique 1 2023/24

"Everything needed to perform a romantic concert came from his flying fingers: inspiration, ease, and tremendous musicality." This was the Nottingham Post's verdict a few years ago about violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky. He is also known to the audience of the Vienna Konzerthaus as a member of the new Residence Piano Trio. Another member of this trio is Narek Hakhnazaryan, whom critics had already declared a cello phenomenon years ago. Together, they now perform Brahms' last orchestral work, the Double Concerto in A minor op. 102, with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Jan Willem de Vriend. At the start of a composer's career, however, stood Schubert's First Symphony, which he composed as a teenager and yet reveals astonishing musical maturity. It is featured alongside the Double Concerto and Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 1 in the program.

Look forward to the concert of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra with two excellent soloists!
