After the success of its first edition, "Prime Time", the extraordinary concert series, moves into the second season. Once again, the presentations will provide not only extra special programmes but also lively moderation, short interviews with the artists and interactive communication with the audience. Young, up-and-coming soloists will again be featured. After the "official" programme, they will present an entire encore session. This time, they are the soprano Mirella Hagen, who debuted in the Wiener Konzerthaus in Orff's "Carmina Burana last June, the just 21-year-old oboist Sebastian Breit, a talent that cannot be discovered soon enough, and the percussionist Christoph Sietzen, one of the Wiener Konzerthaus "Great Talents". Among the programme highlights are works by Frank Bridge and Ralph Vaughan Williams, composers who are far too little known outside of England. There is also a "tasting" of French Impressionism in the third concert.
