The Salzburg born conductor-composer-violinist has
chosen 3 tracks to bring the fruits of a blossoming spirit to our musical
world. His artist-residency at Theater Nordhausen has been preceded by
residencies at
Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse, Ozawa Academy
Geneva, Festival Retz, Loisiarte, St.Gallen, Palmklang. Among the acclaimed
premieres of his works are Symphony nr.1, Ballet ‘Ibykus’, Opera ‘Judas’, the
orchestra fantasies ‘Danse des Corbeaux’ and ‘Fantaisie Pathétique’, and violin
concerto nr.1, 2 and 3.

His partners are Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, Mexico
City Phil, Turku Phil, NÖ Tonkünstler, Cremerata Baltica, Loh-Orchester
Sondershausen, Kransnojarsk Chamber Orchestra, the Wiener Festwochen, Festival
Grafenegg, Styriarte, Carinthian Summer, Dialoge-Festival Salzburg,
Brucknerhaus Linz, Allegro Vivo Festival, Liszt Biennale Weimar, Viola Space
Tokyo etc. Musicians such as Gidon Kremer, Leif Segerstam, Emmanuel
Tjeknavorian, Enrico Pace, Erwin Ortner, Christoph Sietzen, Alexandra Soumm
etc. perform his music. In the coming season it will be Mainfranken Theater Würzburg,
Philharmonia Prague, Manila Youth Orchestra and Theater Nordhausen again, who
will have encounters with Christoph Ehrenfellner.

Enthusiastic reviews about his music come from NY Times, Spiegel online, Austrian newspaper Die Presse, Salzburger Nachrichten, Kurier, Krone and many more. The

at SONY-Classical won the OPUS-classic-prize 2018 in Germany.

Christoph Ehrenfellner has won enthusiastic audience.

Ehrenfellner is honorary member of the Japan Austria
