Concert
Matinee 6 2019/2020

An exciting variety of repertoire: The Vienna Chamber Orchestra takes a journey with treasures and contemporary pearls from Central Europe to Japan. Taking center stage are classical/romantic symphonies including Mendelssohn's "Italian" as well as concertos of the Viennese classical period featuring shining and rising stars like Simon Höfele and Sharon Kam. Debuts on the conductor's podium will be made by Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, the Italian Enrico Onofri and the French Claire Levacher, among others. On four of the dates, Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz will guide the audience through the programme.
